New Customer Information

If you want a water meter installed on your property you begin by contacting the bookkeeper (913) 285-0875. You will be required to purchase a Benefit Unit (a right entitling the holder to one water service).

Cost of a Benefit Unit - $1,000.00

Per Article 6- Section 3 of our Bylaws:

The consideration paid for a Benefit Unit shall be considered a donation to the District and shall in no event and under no circumstances be refunded to the subscriber.
After payment for the Benefit Unit the meter will be installed. All cost of construction and materials will be responsibility of customer. You will then begin receiving your monthly water bill.

Section 6 – Bylaws

“Failure to pay the minimum monthly meter charge or failure to pay for water used through a meter, shall constitute a forfeiture of the Benefit Unit”
Benefit Units shall follow the title of the land unless the owner of the land designates otherwise.
